Nigeria: Current Status

Ross Leonard

There are a lot of ways that Nigeria has progressed over the years, but now in the current days it is not the best place to go on vacation. There have been a lot of tries of forceful take over, over the years but on type of government has stayed above the rest and that is, democracy their current president is Umaru  Yar’ Adua  he has kept his power through many ways but the public seems to like him so it is all ok (Ibirogba).

There are also many ways in which the country keeps it’s economy up and running and one of those ways , well the main way, is the trade routes they have multiple trade rout all of them have been very successful for the vast amounts of raw materials that are a natural part of the country. This is also one of the rezones that you might not want to take a trip here because there are a lot of people going a lot of places and you don’t want to get in the way of forward progress (Ibirogba).

Nigeria also is part of the U.N. and has good relationship with the U.S. a combination that is a little harder to find these days. Though they may have a good relationship with the U.S. there are certain countries not so lucky such as, Somalia and other African countries.

There are also many disagreements over the religious stand point of Nigeria but it is commonly recognized that they are a Muslim country (Ogunmade).
